In other news, I went to the Bologna art fair this past Friday and it was completely overwhelming and exciting. It was interesting to see all the galleries set up in order to sell the work rather then display it, creating an entirely different feeling. The whole experience had a very relaxed vibe. Some very famous artwork was casually hanging amongst all the rest in a large exhibition center completely filled to the brim with pieces.

Hey dude, thanks for checking in with my adventures - have fun at carnivale! i've heard great things about it and am jealous! awesome picture of the art show, how did you get up there? we can talk more about your visit, the only time that won't work is april 20-28 which is my spring break, but otherwise whenever. i have a large place you can stay in but i have to figure out whether i have to tell them you're there and if i do then it's 15$ a night. we can live off way less than that per day so it might balance out to be worth it. let me know! good luck this weekend, have fun and be safe!
Hope the cold is just a little one- drink plenty of fluids:) sorry wine doesn't count. Have fun in Venice. Can't wait to see those pictures and hear some of the stories. And of course on Sunday you'll be thinking about the Patriots in the Super Bowl! Julie
