The start of it all

At this point I have my visa, I am registered for classes and there are only fall finals and a lot of packing between me and Italy. I will be attempting to update this blog on a fairly regular basis with photos and general stories and updates.

I opened up the blog for anyone to post comments (because comments are fun!) So if you want to leave a small note just click "comments" underneath a new post. When the window pops up you also have the option of clicking "other" for the name (so I know who you are)

Anyway...posts will start once I am on my way.
Arrivederci

Hahahahaha -- Okay the fact that your blog is named "HeatherLarsonAbroad" makes me think you are like a news commentator.

"This is Heather Larson, reporting to you live from Tuscany."

"And then...we finished the pasta. This is Heather Larson, live from Geona."

"Heather, how's the weather out there?"
"Clear, Bob, with a chace of showers."
"I hear you had a little incident?"
"*light laughter* Yesm we sure did Bob. After drinking too much wine last night, one of my tripmates puked on an Italian national tereasure. she followed that up by commenting that she really hated puking on doric columns, as they are her favorite style of column. And now, back to you in the studio!"

I could go on (and on and on) but I won't. You get the picture. I'm super excited to read your up on your adventures.

Oh! Do you go home before you leave? Is that where I should send your Christmas present?

Hahaha, I never thought of it that way. But that was an outstanding bit you typed out there. I will be in Washington from Dec 30 to Jan 7.
Hope the Holidays in Portland are treating you well!

I have a story for you. And I started my own little blog as well. http://devin-egypt.blogspot.com

Good luck with everything, I know it's busy getting ready so if we can't talk before, stay in touch and I'll check this when I can!
